Technical Area Manager - Food Safety

The Technical Area Manager (Food Safety) is a hybrid role combining high-level technical expertise with proactive sales strategy. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting food safety solutions to manufacturers, retailers, and distributors. The ideal candidate serves as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between complex safety regulations and practical product application.

• Promote, sell, and market food safety solutions to assigned market segments, including food manufacturers, retailers, distributors, etc.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients in the food industry.
• Increase sales by identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities through proactive product promotion and upselling strategies.
• Conduct regular market analysis and keep up-to-date with the latest trends and regulations in the food safety sector.
• Plan and submit weekly sales call plans and monthly sales forecasts.
• Prepare and submit reports to track business performance and drive sales growth.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies and sales contracts to ensure customer loyalty and consistent sales.
• Lead sales negotiations to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide hands-on guidance for effective application and usage.
• Provide exceptional after-sales service, including emergency deliveries, product installations, and assistance with proper product application.

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology or any related program.
• Sales experience in food safety or related industries is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in managing customer relationships effectively.
• Self-driven and resourceful, able to find solutions to client challenges with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Filipino and English.
• Quick learner with the ability to gain technical product knowledge rapidly.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
